Yes. Every procedure runs on FDA-cleared technology, tested for both safety and results. But equipment is only half the story. We look at your health history, your skin, your medications, and your goals before ever building a plan around you. And if something isn't right for your situation, we'll say so. Even if that means turning a treatment down.
Less than people expect, usually. Body contouring and skin treatments feel more like warmth or gentle pressure than pain. For injectables, we use very fine needles. People with highly sensitive skin are encouraged to use numbing cream before treatment.
Not much at all. Most people go straight back to their work. You might see some redness or mild swelling, but it usually settles within hours, sometimes a day or two. Before you leave, your provider tells you what's normal and what would warrant a call.
Go easy for the first day. Skip hard exercise, alcohol, and hot environments like saunas; they all increase blood flow and can affect how the product settles. Don't rub or press on the treated area. With Botox especially, pressure can move the product somewhere you didn't intend. If you got filler, avoid blood thinners like ibuprofen unless your doctor says otherwise, and hold off on dental work for a few days too, since pressure on the face can shift newly placed filler. Most people feel normal again by the next morning.
Give it four to six hours. That's how long the injection sites need to properly close and lower the risk of irritation. After that, makeup's fine; just use clean tools and go gently rather than rubbing. Small bumps or redness usually fade within a few hours and are easy to cover if you need to. Your provider walks you through aftercare specific to your treatment before you leave.
Botox: roughly three to four months before a touch-up makes sense. Filler: six to eighteen months, depending on the product, the area, and how your body metabolizes it. Body contouring can last indefinitely if your weight stays fairly stable, since the fat cells treated don't come back. We'll build a realistic timeline with you at your consultation, for your calendar and your wallet.
Keep the area clean. If it's sun-exposed, use a good broad-spectrum sunscreen, since skin can be more sensitive to UV for a while afterward. Skip harsh exfoliants or retinoids on that area for a few days unless told otherwise. Staying hydrated genuinely helps your body process treatments like TruSculpt iD, so drink more water than usual in the days after. And if anything feels off- unexpected pain, swelling that won't quit, signs of infection- call us instead of waiting it out.
Whatever's easiest for you. Book online, call (403) 960-0999, or email admin@energizeaesthetics.com. We'll get back to you quickly and find a time that fits your schedule.
We do, with a few flexible options depending on the treatment. Ask us directly at your consultation, or check the Financing page beforehand if you'd rather come in already knowing what's available.
Rarely, and that's true industry-wide, not specific to us. A few exceptions exist, like PRP for medically diagnosed hair loss where a physician has documented the condition. We'll help sort out what applies to you at your consultation, paperwork included.
Plans change; we get it, but we do ask for as much notice as you can give if you need to reschedule. That way, someone else waiting for a slot can take it. We'll go over the specific policy, including any late-cancellation fees, when you book, so nothing catches you off guard later.
We don't perform injectable treatments during pregnancy, without exception. That's standard practice across the industry rather than a policy unique to us, because the research simply isn't there yet to call it safe. Breastfeeding is more of a judgment call. Dr. Alvi will go through the evidence with you, your history, and decide together whether it makes sense right now. Fillers and a few other treatments usually wait until after breastfeeding, as a precaution.
Clients must be at least 18 years old for the treatments we offer. Cosmetic procedures like Botox, fillers, and body contouring are intended for adults who can independently consent to treatment and understand the associated risks and expectations. For clients under 18 seeking a medically necessary treatment, such as certain acne or hair loss therapies, we'd ask that you speak with our team directly, as these situations are evaluated individually and typically require parental involvement and physician referral.
Mostly, it's a conversation. We ask about your goals, your history, and any concerns. Dr. Alvi or your provider examines the area you're interested in and lays out the options that actually fit you, not a generic list. You'll leave with a real sense of cost, recovery, and what results to expect. Nobody's pressured to book on the spot. A lot of clients go home and think it over first.
The side effects, if they occur, are usually mild and temporary. Injectables can leave slight bruising or tenderness for a day or two. Laser and body contouring might cause some warmth, tingling, or light swelling right after. Serious complications are rare when a trained professional does the work properly, which is exactly why we're careful about who's doing what. Your provider will flag anything specific to your treatment before you go.
Depends on what you're having done. Body contouring can show change after one session, faster than most people assume. Botox takes longer: a few days for early signs, about two weeks for the full effect to settle in. Filler often looks different almost right away, though give it a few days for any swelling to calm before judging the final result.
It varies by treatment and by person. Body contouring plans typically involve a series of sessions, often four to six, spaced a few weeks apart, though some clients see meaningful change sooner. Botox and fillers are usually single-session treatments, with results maintained through periodic touch-ups rather than an ongoing course. Laser treatments for acne or skin concerns tend to work best over multiple sessions, since consistency allows the deeper layers of skin to respond gradually. During your consultation, Dr. Alvi or your provider will recommend a session count based on your specific goals rather than a one-size-fits-all number.

Often, yes. Botox and filler together is one of our most requested pairings; they solve different problems and work well side by side. Some clients combine body contouring with our weight loss program for something bigger picture. Either way, the plan gets built around what you actually want, not around what's on the price list.
Botox relaxes the muscles causing expression lines, crow's feet, forehead creases, that kind of thing. Filler works differently. It restores volume you've lost, usually in the cheeks, lips, or under the eyes. Different problems, different tools. That's why we combine them so often.
In many cases, yes. Most hyaluronic acid–based fillers, which make up the majority of what we use, can be dissolved using an enzyme that breaks the product down safely if you're unhappy with the outcome or simply change your mind. This isn't true of every filler type, so it's worth asking your provider which product is being used before treatment if reversibility matters to you. If you do ever want a filler dissolved, book a consultation with us, and we'll assess the area and walk you through the process.
It uses targeted radiofrequency heat to break down fat cells in stubborn areas, the kind that don't budge with diet or exercise. Most clients see real reduction over the following weeks as the body clears those cells naturally. Results vary a bit person to person. It works best paired with a stable routine, not as a standalone fix, and we'll set expectations honestly at your consultation.
Yes, though it builds slowly. We draw your blood, concentrate the platelets, and reintroduce them to stimulate the follicles. Across a few sessions, spaced weeks apart, hair in the treated area tends to thicken and look healthier. If you've caught thinning early, it's a solid, natural place to start before anything more invasive.
Yes, and we go after the cause, not just the surface. Overactive oil glands usually drive persistent breakouts. Our laser treatments target that directly instead of just calming what's visible today. That's the difference between skin that clears for a week and skin that actually stays clear. Plans are built around your skin type and how severe things are.
Most healthy adults are, broadly speaking. But it really comes down to your goals, your history, and the treatment itself. Certain medications, conditions, or things like pregnancy can mean waiting or adjusting the plan. Honestly, the only real way to know is a consultation, where someone looks at your situation directly instead of guessing from a checklist.
